Complaint Review: Gary Stroup

For quite some time, this jerk-off has been selling his [whopper jawed] crap load of "archtops" on ebay: Until recently, he had no website, and communicating with him, [past and or present] can be a real pain in the a*s, as well as a waste of time.... Just recently, [as well as in the past] I have tried repeatedly by email, [and by phone] to commission this jack-a*s to make a archtop for me: In relaying my needs regarding his making a archtop for me, he tells you that he can [only] make a archtop for you, within his [limited] capabilities of making archtop.... Not having the comprehension nor skills to go beyond making that which he hasn't the intelligence, skills, or materials for.... After much confusing and conflicting information, I finally decided to call and speak with him, [again] on what I wanted in his making for me one of his largest sized models of archtops.. {Which is a 18" inch] I didn't make my specification complexed, and well within his abilities to be able to make for me what it was that I wanted... Even after THAT, the idiot, still seemed to have problems: It's as if, he is a functioning retard senior citizen male, getting angry and frustrated for no apperant reason, in your making a simple request for a archtop.... Of which HE, makes complexed!..... He also has a tanacity to swear at you, when he feels the needs to, showing as to how much of a obnoxious jerk-off, he can [really] be... [Which I admonished him about in a very nice, and none abusive email, of which he has not replied to] If you look at his site, his archtops [really] ARE CRAPPY LOOKING AND CRAPPY MADE... {Which he does indicate so, unless he has gone back and re-edited his website text, to not reflect that comment] He [does] indicate, that his guitars aren't "pretty", [looking] so if you are looking for a pretty [looking] archtop, you chose the wrong guy.... {I'd say so} But, he counters that, saying, that if you want a "great sounding archtop", and at a affordable price, he is the "man", [ha, ha!] for you.... I don't care as to how many [ebay] buyers, rave, about his archtops, [as they are the one whom settle for less, and can't afford the best] nor as to what they say on harmony central: {As they will not post bad reviews on makers, to begin with] He isn't worth the time and effort to deal with.. Oh, and by the way: He also likes to give a sob story of his having a heart attack, [in the past, or recently] to justify his tenacity for swearing at you, his bad attitude toward potential customers, his [bad] social/customer services skills practices and miscellaenous.... Take my advice: [As he told me to do] Look elsewhere, for makers that are more patient, and capable of fulfilling your needs in make a pristime archtop: As this guy IS, a waste of time, a fool, and a idiot jerk, and a real rip-off..... But you make your own decison, as to waste your own money and time: I thought that I would give fair warning.........
