Complaint Review: Gas Rebate Redemption

Basically echoing what lokiwong of California had to say about this program.  I too got my last mailing of gas receipts returned with a "moved-left no address-unable to forward" sticker on it as well (date on sticker, applied by USPS, is 1/7/10).

This is the second time around for this; I got this 'rebate certificate' after the company that had issued the original one (BBZ Resource Management d/b/a  "Claimyourgas.com) went bankrupt.

I did suspect a rat a month or so back, since I had received no rebates (which were supposed to be in the form of pre-paid Visa cards) in a three-month period; I did contact the company and spoke with someone who assured me that all rebates would be issued; that the company was backlogged in processing, but that if I were patient everything would work out.  Silly me for believing him!!

I'm not out as much as lokiwong it only cost me $9.95 to register for this (and I was supposed to get that back with my first rebate), and I needed the furniture I bought to qualify for the gas rebate promotion anyway.  But it does tend to irk me off.
