Gatehub Limited Beware - Identity Theft scam England / City of London
I have read the other complaints on Gatehub on Ripoff report and could not agree more. I also wanted to buy Ripple (XRP) and found Gatehub listed on the Ripple site. I complied with sufficient information on who I was and provided a copy of my Driver License and address confirmation with a front page scan of the bank statement showing only my name, the banks name and address. They rejected me twice. They wanted a full scan of the bank account information. This screams Identity Theft.
There is no reason anyone needs a complete scan of your bank account information. I tried to reach out to them but can only communicate thru their customer service forms. This is a huge red flag. If you cant reach the people that you are trying to use as an exchange then they are merely trying to hid. These guys are not in the US, they have no contact information in which you can either talk to someone or even go to the office location. After reading here on Ripoff report where others have their balances Zeroed out and cant reach anyone, I am certainly glad I was rejected.
Beware of any so-called Crypto currency Exchange that is NOT in the US and does NOT have a verified address and phone number where you can actually discuss issues with them. Those sites are scams and once you make your deposit your money is gone.
