Last year I called Gateway because I was interested in ordering a laptop computer. I got all the way up to financing and the man told me he had to get back with me. I never heard from them again. A month later I recieved a computer in the mail. I called them I they told me my financing went though and they shipped it.

I told them I didn't want it because I had already got one and I sent it back. A month later I get a credit card from them telling me I still have an account and can order stuff from gateway.com. So i Use it to order a digital camera and some other items. A month or two passes and I still don't get my camera or even a statement from the finance company.

I call gateway and they tell me that it may be on back order. I finally one of the other items I ordered but no camera and no statement. Finally about three months later I get a bill saying I am 4 months past due and the account is closed and in collection. When I call citbank they tell me that bills were mailed and returned, but they were sent to somebody elses address. They tell me that can do nothing because the account is so past due and i will have to take it up with gateway.

Everytime I call gateway I can't ever get through to anybody and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. So now I have to pay citibank $1300 for merchandise I did't recieve and there is nothing I can do about it. Gateway has the worst customer service I have ever delt with and their company is a rippoff. I hope Dell put you out of bussiness.
