After a couple of successes with Gazelle, I decided to sell a Sony DSC-H5 digital camera to them and they quoted me a price online that seemed reasonable.  Upon receiving the camera, I received an email indicating that what I sent them was not the camera they quoted.  It is the camera I agreed to send so I have rejected their counter offer and awaiting a return of the equipment.


My belief is that someone at Gazelle quoted a price for a Sony DSC-H50, but the online information I gave them was for a DSC-H5 and that is what I sent.  I did not like their implication that I was trying to defraud them by sending the wrong camera.


If Gazelle's database does not know the difference between the two cameras then that is their problem.  Or it could be they decided to send me a low ball offer after receiving the camera, which isn't right either.  Either way, I will not be using or recommending Gazelle.
