WARNING

Gregory Bernstein is the owner of GB Auto Parts, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida and he sold me a junk unusable part on eBay. It was junk right from the time I opened the box

His return policy on eBay clearly states he gives a 100% refund, but he did not honor the policy. After numerous attempts trying to phone and email him he did not return any of my communication.

I am writing here to warn everyone not to trust this guy.

His eBay name is gb-autoparts-inc.

How about following through with my refund instead of spending time on the internet looking up fancy words to use in your rebuttal? Answer this question infront of the wolrd: will you give me my money back if I send you the defective part you sent me a long time ago? No more big words...just a YES or NO will suffice. Okay world ~ let's see what he says!

 We apologize for any inconvenience you may have incurred in this transaction. EBay directed you to follow our return policy which is that we accept returns 30 days after the delivery date with no questions asked. You also are required to actually return the item to us. We simply cannot file shipping damage insurance claims if there is no item for us and the shipping company to inspect. It is unfortunate that professionalism has not been maintained, especially learning that you've been in business for 34 years. We wish you the best of luck in your business and hope that in the future that you will afford sellers the opportunity to correct an issue and follow agreed upon policies rather than slandering their name.

Look, he can say whatever to try and make himself appear better ~ the bottom line is that not only did he not try to make it right...he simply didn't care. We are a well-known local service facility with 34 years in business. We know what we are doing when it comes to repairing cars. We don't buy parts and THEN figure out the problem was something else (as this guy suggests). We had to order the same part from another company and it fixed the car. Very simply put; this guy sent us a junky part that was bad and then he wouldn't stand behind the sale. All I'm saying is beware of this guy. We had a terrible experience with him and lost money (and time). I'm an old man in the business a long time and I can spot a crook. This guy is a crook, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

 It is very disconcerting to see such a vitriolic report. This customer claimed to have received a faulty part and no return allowed for a refund. We do test our parts prior to pulling them from the doner vehicles so that our customers are not taking chances on an unknown part condition. Unfortunately issues may arise from shipping damage which is why we have a 30 day return policy with no questions asked. We have had many customers find that it was another part that was the issue and we still accept their returns (many used car part sellers do not accept returns for electronics or buyers remorse reasons but we do). We sell all of our parts through eBay and as you can see through our eBay feedback rating, we have retained a near perfect 100% positive rating for almost 15 years now. After reviewing this particular customer's case, we see that the return was closed with no refund because the item was never sent back to us (eBay closed the case in our favor due to non returned item). We are always happy to give full refunds but in order to do so we do need the item returned to us so that we can handle insurance claims.
