GC Collection Agency contacted me about a charge card and insisted that I send them $8000.00 in the next three days or they would report it to the credit bureau as failure to pay. I tried to explain to Mr. Ramirez at GC that I have a payment arrangement already set up with the credit card company and I would need to call them and see what is going on.

Mr. Ramirez then became extremely rude and told me not to call the card company because it would do me no good and I just need to make some "embarassing" phone calls to come up with the money. He made no attempt to make any arrangements with me and when I asked him for a toll free number he gave me a number that no one answers.

I did call the credit card company and they are in the process of trying to pull back my account. When I called Mr. Ramirez back to explain this to him he basically told me I did not know what I was talking about and they would never pull the account back. He then proceeded to tell me he considered this my refusal to pay and told me the call was through. I never refused to pay I just wanted some time for the credit card company to sort things out on their end.

Ya they are obviously trying to collect the money so they make money on the account. They dont want you to call the CC company because they are seeing that they can get the money from you. Just keep calling your CC company and you should be all set.
