GDS Publishing - Circulation Scam Boiler Room New York New York
This company is being investigated by the NY District Attorney for FRAUD. They seem to have a boiler room sales force, bit like the days of penny stockbrokers.
"I signed an advertising contract with GDS for a new website they recently launched. GDS had aggressive account receivable agents who wanted their money sooner than we had agreed to and they did not provide me with log-in credentials until after the campaign had begun - this prevented me from being able to approve any of my ad space. Once I was able to log in I immediately saw that everything was all wrong. I made every reasonable effort work with them but ultimately requested a full refund. Not only was that request denied, but they terminated my log in credentials and told me to sue them if I wanted to re-cover my money. I would HIGHLY recommend that NOONE do business with GDS International, Financial Services Technology, MeetTheBoss.com or any of its other affiliates. They lie, cheat and steal without moral bound and conveniently hide behind the veil of doing business in the UK. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!"
In addition it seems that their publications are not audited which means that there circulation do not have 3rd party verification. from the below posts previous employees walked out because they found out that the magazines were only distributed to advertisers.
