So I can't stress it enough: Anyone thinking about opening a GE Capital Cons Cardco or Care Credit account: run for your life!!

No website! 21.98% interest! Good luck reaching someone on the phone.

I have made THREE attempts to pay off my account, and all three attempts have been unsuccessful!!

Today is March 23, 2004:
First attempt: Feb. 15, 2004: electronic payment/balance transfer from my bank was rejected by GE Capital Cons Cardco.

Second attempt: Feb. 23, 2004: check mailed to GE Capital Cons Cardco. They kept saying they didn't receive it, so after three weeks I put a stop-payment on it on March 15. And sure enough, two days later on March 17, 23 days after I mailed the payment, they finally tried to cash it. So now I'm stuck paying a returned check fee, plus interest!!

Third attempt: On March 15, 2004 - I paid a $10.00 fee to pay the balance by phone. The $10.00 fee was processed right away, but I'm still waiting for the rest to be processed: 8 days now!
