Complaint Review: GE Capitol Cons Cardco

I had the same exact problem as an earlier post (who bought a computer & had problems w/ insurance).

I bought a computer at Best Buy (who used GE CONS)& put insurance on the account. I became permanently disabled w/ Multiple Sclerosis. It took months before they made any payment on the account; when they did they only payed off 1/3. Then they only made monthly minimums for 3 months and stopped paying.

When I called asking why did they only pay a portion the reply was: the insurance co. had to resend another application for my doctor to reapply for. They wanted to know if my permanent disease went away, or for how much longer would I be permanently disabled before they paid anymore. Hello. Last my neurologist new, MS is an incurable lifelong debilitating crippling disease. I guess the insurance co. never heard of MS???

Dealing with a disease like this is enough to deal with; now I am perpetually dealing with these idiots going round and round, getting nowhere fast.
