Complaint Review: GE Care Credit

GE Care Credit has dose it again. They offer no interest loans for certian time periods however, they adjust the time periods to make sure they always geT their deferred interest. During my may statement I got an alert that my promotion of 18 months of payment were up. However instead of saying to make a total payment Care Credit at the bottom of the statemet hidden amongst vast amounts of verbage in vague and confusing terms indicate the expired time is coming up! At the top of the statement the minimum payment is clearly indicated. WHICH IS THEIR PLAN SO CONSUMERS WILL MISS THEIR PAY OFF DATE AND THEY CAN CHARGE EXTRA LATE FEES ETC BECAUSE ITS LIKE A BALLOON PAYMENT. Instead of clearly indicating at the top of the statement your time is up in the no interest promotional credit. If they would have indicated at the top a total payment was due to save the almost 200.00 of interest it would have been paid. I found their practices to be clearly deceptive and fortunately here I hope others will be warned. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT HAPPENS TO POOR FOLKS WHO CANT PAY THEM OFF IN TIME AND JUST HOW OUTRAGEOUS THESE LOAN SHARK TACTICS BECOME. THEY CLEARLY HAVE BEEN ALLOWED BY THE FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS TO LEGALLY LOAN SHARK. SOMEDAY WE WILL JUST SAY NO TO OUTRAGEOUS INTEREST RATES AND THE CREDIT LOBBIES WHO SPONSOR THEM WITH ILL GOTTEN MONEY!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR FORUM TO WARN OTHERS!!!
