GE Extended Warranty - GE Electronics Extended Service Warranty is a JOKE San Diego California

I have been leary on purchasing any Extended Warranty but we did when we bought a 32" HD Phillips Magnavox TV ($800). Plus the Ext Warranty was an extra $250. Beautiful TV until 6 mox ago it started to "flutter" not "flip" on white background images. First Service Call went to N County Services and the result was "Never seen this problem before- cant help you". Then problem continued - we were then referred of course by our Ext Warranty People to the next repair company GE Electronics.

Here is the saga GE Electronics tech personally came to house - cant fix it - needs to be picked up. -Set picked up - kept for days - shop never saw the problem
-Set brought back diagnosed NO Problem Found
-Set acted up again - Set picked up again - Kept and Again No Found Problem -Set brought back-Set acted up again - Tech personally came out - saw the problem with his two eyes - Set needs to go back in - We told him no due to no one being able to catch the problem because they cant watch the TV 24 hrs straight to see it (it is intermittent).... So we recorded the problem on our own video cam and presented it to the TECH - yep I see it but it needs to be picked up again!!!!!!!!!!

Warranty People now need to Verify all this and deem it unrepairable and no one is able to contact the TECH to do that because he still noted the ticket as a PICKUP ITEM UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE - TOTAL WASTE OF $$$$ - Contract states three sep calls and unit has not been fixed needs to be a replacement or voucher for it - not more headaches from the WARRANTY PEOPLE who are supposed to be protecting us as consumers!!

Now GE Extended Warranty wants me (customer) to fax over my invoices in which GE Electronics serviced so that they can see the diagnosis of TV..... how ridiculous!! These people are so irresponsible that they are not even entering this information in their system for viewing by GE Extended Warranty Service. So I have to go out and fax it myself..... I will never ever buy a GE nor the Extended Warranty again
