sleepy's deny' any responsibility for charges and intially had my bill etc. sent to wrong address. I paid in full and recieved additional late fees. By the way customer service was in India of all places and refused comment. I have and will continue to discourage any one from using the bank and especially sleepy's for any purchase or business. Tired

I used to be employed as a manager at Sleepy's, a number of years ago. I have kept in close contact with many friends who are still employed there. I know that many of the complaints here are well-founded, but one thing that I can tell you is that the very hard-working Customer Service employees there at Sleepy's are exactly that - THERE, at Sleepy's, and are not in India! Remember, please, that Sleepy's is located in Nassau County, next door to Queens, New York (City, that is), and as such, there is a large immigrant population, so you will hear a few accents sometimes. In fact, The CS dept is about 50 feet and across the 2nd floor lunchroom, above the Warehouse, and directly adjacent to the Telemarketing Dept. They are terribly underpaid (the CS people) and since they sell nothing, they make nothing for the owners of Sleepy's, so they are paid as close to nothing as the law allows. And as we all know, you only get what you pay for. Pay nothing, and you get nothing. Including Customer Service. And as hard as they work at what they do, they are looking to do only what they are told to do by the front office. And not a bit more.
