Complaint Review: GE Rebates

GE ran a rebate promotion from January 3,2006 through April 2, 2006. It read purchase two eligible appliances and rebate is $100, purchase three appliances rebate is $200, purchase four appliances rebates is $300 and purchase five appliances rebate is $400. Mail rebate form and copies of sales receipts and serial numbers of appliances purchased to Dept. #6017-ZE1-1, Must be postmarked no later than April 29,2006.

I mailed all information the first time on 2-14-06, called in April because I had never received my rebate check, was told they never got it, to mail it again. I did mail it again and also faxed the same information to them. I called them again on 5-15-06 and was told my rebate was in finance stages and would be mailed in 8 to 10 weeks. Never receive it. Opened my Email from GE 6-02-06, the Email stated the rebate was invalid because they received it after the dated it was to be postmarked. I called, they gave me the run around on the phone, please hold while we research this matter. I was on hold for 30 minutes finally they came on the phone just to tell me I would have to wait 8 to 10 weeks for the finance stages of the rebate. They are just stalling and I will never get this rebate.
