Gear Local Ron Roberts Will not pay my last paycheck Saint Charles , Missouri
I just wanna start this off by telling everyone I am a disgruntled ex employee of Gear Local. My frustration lies in the matter that they are refusing too pay me my last paycheck. Their last reason is because I did not give them my two weeks notice and it is going to cost them a lot of cancellations. Maybe I should of gave them a 2 week notice. This still does not resolve the matter that I quit on good terms.
I actually came in and told the owner and his son that this is my last day, shook hands and drove back home. Which is a lot better than what a lot of other people do as in just not showing up. So if you are going to use Gear Local for SEO or SEM purposes remember that they are still refusing to this day of 09/16/2011 I still have not received my paycheck. Good luck. I worked for a company where the boss usually cowered ex-employees into not getting their final checks. He always said they owed the shop money for some reason.
When I quit, I advised the secretary/treasurer (his sister) that if any of my money was withheld I would immediately file with the Colorado Dep't of Labor...got paid every penny.
There are time limits, file NOW.
