I am absolutely aghast that someone like G>E>E> Super singles was so hard up to sue me for $25 because I stopped payment on a check for a cocktail party that was absolutely horrible. She totally misrepresented the age of the people, the food and drinks. It cost me $130 in a out of court settlement otherwise it would have been over $200. Amazing that someone is that cheap over $25. I have singles events all the time and if someone isn't happy I would gladly give them their money back.

Now who's hard up. Both moneywise and otherwise? You go to a single's party to meet someone. Either they're too old or too young for your taste. The food and drinks aren't to your liking and you stop payment on your check? Talk about cheap!!!! To put a stop payment on a check, usually costs $20 to $25. I don't understand the out of court settlement story. I'll bet she turned it in to the DA's office and that's what you had to pay to settle the check, otherwise face charges. I'll bet there's alot more to this story.
