I bought my Gateway computer at Best buy in 2007 and within a fe months the keys began sticking then falling off. I took it in the the store geeksquad like I was supposed to. BTW I bought a full warrenty with my computer that covers everything up to and including replacement. I got my computer back and with a few months the keys started falling off again.

I then took it back to qeeksquad and they "fixed" these issues;1 Keys falling off 2 cursur vanishes I can click it in the space I want it to be in and start typing and about 3 letters in the curser disappears and then shows up somewhere elso on the screen,3my CD drawer was broke and hard if not impossable to open. I once again took my laptop to geeksquad and other then the keys being stuck back on and the CD drawer replaced nothing has changed.

Once again my keys are sticking and falling off. My curser has times it disapears and now it seems like my thumb controls are not on right. I have to hit the thumb enter 3-4 times before it catches on. I am ready to chuck this computer in the trash. I AM SERIOUSLY WONDERING IF GEEKSQUAD KNOWS HOW TO FIX A COMPUTER THAT STAYS FIXED FOR LONGER THEN 30 DAYS!?!?

Chapel Hill has awful customer service as well. When you take it in for the 4th repair, take it in to the store in Montrose (285.)
I used to work there and we get horror stories from people all the time about the awful customer service at Chapel. Tell the GS agent at Montrose about the awful time you've had with Chapel and they'll redouble their efforts to help you. We're kind of embarrassed to be related to that store....

No Lemon Policy

Under the bestbuy service plan you mentioned, after the forth repair, your computer falls under the no-lemon policy. So you will be able to get a new computer if checked in for the same problem 4 times. Also, check the computer the next time you get it back before signing off on the service order. I wouldn't take it back until they corrected the issue. Once you sign that Service Order Receipt, you are stating that the repair is complete to your satisfaction. You may also want to contact consumer relations with the issue. They are very good at ensuring the customer has a positive experience with the company.
