Geico won't pay a claim of a small fender bender because owner of the other car won't contact them regarding fender bender.I took six pictures of the incedent and call the Insurance company with in thirty minutes of the fender bender. Three weeks later they sent me an e-mail they won't pay for it.(it's aboute $500 worth acording to one estimate I got). What can I do to make them fix it?

This letter is regarding the loss you recently reported to GEICO.

We have made numerous attempts to contact our policyholder , regarding this claim.

Unfortunately, all of our efforts have been unsuccessful to date. Without contact from our policyholder, an objective police report taken at the scene of the accident, or an independent witness, we will be unable to take any further action on this claim. As a result, we are unable to make any payments to you for the damages that you sustained in this loss at this time.

The photos provided have been reviewed and found to show not enough evidence that puts our insured at the scene of the accident.

If there is additional evidence you would like us to consider, please contact us at the number below.

Sincerely,

It sounds as though you had an accident with a Geico policyholder. BUT, the policyholder has not contacted the company, nor was there any definitive proof, such as a witnes statement or police report to acknowledge that there was an actual accident. The only recourse you have here is to file a Small Claims Court action, naming the suposed insured and once he is served, perhaps he will communicate with Geico and actually report the accident.
