Complaint Review: GEICO Adjuster:Tony Wagner

My vehicle was damaged by a caustic agent deposited by a semi hauling some "mystery" chemical on the interstate. The adjuster says the damage was already present and is caused by a paint reaction with the sealer. The new paint job is over 10 months old plenty of time for solvent bleed through IF it was going to happen, it would have happened by now. My light lenses are damaged and so is the trim indicating a corrosive chemical was deposited on my vehicle. Besides I am very attentive to my vehicle and I had washed it the day before the incident and ther was NO damages. I washed it again the day after as it had an oily film residue and thats when the damages became obvious. They are "shirking their responsibility. It isn't over yet and I have contatcted a local TV station that seeks out consumer wrongs and contatced an attorney for resolve if needed. Both are standing by to help......Will keep you posted.
