Here is email I sent to Geico:
Dear Geico, Yesterday you left my husband stranded on the
interstate. This was my facebook and blog post today:

"Avoid Geico, beware. Here's how they screwed us
yesterday...My husbands car broke down Tuesday. Our towing service is through
Geico, they refused to tow it claiming it was not included as a covered car,
even though he verbally added it with them 6 months ago. We paid out of pocket
for towing. He got it fixed at the local sunoco, called and emailed Geico and
confirmed it was on their list for any future breakdown towing needs.

It broke down again yesterday (wednesday). He called them for free
towing, they claimed...here is the worst part of their policy... that they
required proof he had the car repaired. While he was broken down on the road
they insisted he send them a copy of the repair receipt before they would
consider sending a tow truck.

So dont get Geico. If you have it, switch today. I called
them and kept asking how they would recommend he send them a receipt while
stranded on the road. they kept saying fax it. Many cusswords flew from my
lips. we dont carry a fax machine in the car.

He called and we paid out of pocket again for towing. Geico
is cheaper then most. Now I see how they can charge less. By not serving
customers. Spread the word. I have lost trust. If no reimbursement.. ...to my 1100
friends, and my 1323 blog readers stay tuned for more info on how to help me
lower their customer base and spread the truth about their lack of service when
most needed."d spread the truth about their lack of service when most
needed
