Complaint Review: gems and loans escondido

 In July of 2012 I redeamed a pawn at Gems and Loans in Escondido.  I had pawned a large gold aries medallion and earrings to help my daughters with rent money.  The owner was a tall overweight mexican male with plastic eye glass frames with coke bottle lenses who offered me $800 for the earrings alone.  I turned him down since I do not sell my jewelry.  I had done this type of pawn before at a reputable pawnbroker  The Traders in Reseda so i expected the same type of service again.  unfortunately within days of redeeming the medallion. . . our family home was robberd of several valuable gemstones, and a valuable gold anchor chain with a pendant of a japanese lady in kimono hand carved from light green jade.  This robbery happened in broad daylight, during my morning shopping and while my elderly parents were present in another part of our home. Once I realized our family jewelry was gone I suspected Gems and Loans immediately concluding all business with them. Do not take your valuables to this pawnbroker.  I allege Gems and Loans got my address off of the pawn contract I signed and robbed my poor elderly parents while I was shopping at their store!   The owner bragged how he made $10,000 . . . I would have paid $20,000 to get my valuables back.  What a fool.  Please be warned about this Gems and Loans Pawnbroker.  Times are hard and these dumb felons  apparently will stop at nothing to make a small profit.
