You may have received a professionally worded email from this company as a response to a help-wanted inquiry. DO NOT RESPOND TO IT. It is an attempt to gain personal information for identity theft. Another poster has published a copy of the email that they send. Unfortunately, ths happens on ly AFTER you have sent your resume, so by that time, they are already off to a god start. If you have sent your resume to them, be aware that from now on, you will have to be extra vigilant in reviewing the email that you respond to.

There IS a real Genentech company, but this is not it, and they do not place any online recruiting ads for "AT-HOME" opportunities. I received one after replying to an ad on RegionalHelpWanted.com. To their credit, when they were notified, they IMMEDIATELY pulled the ad, but onbly to have it mysteriously reappear a few hours later. I understand that the ads are fed from numerous sources, and that this type of situation is an ongoing problem for them.

Be very careful about giving out personal information on the internet, and NEVER give banking, Social Security or other personal info.
