Complaint Review: Generac Power Systems

Generac Power Systems Problem started before Warranty run out and now they say it is not covered. Waukesha, Wisconsin

I purchased a Generac All House Generator. After 18 months I decided it should ne serviced, so I called a service man recommended by Generac. After he serviced the unit it did not run properly, so he ordered some parts and again it did not run right. He said he did not know what was wrong.

So I called another Generac recommended serviceman, he orderd some more parts and Generac said they would cover the parts but not the labor becasue now it is over the 2 year warranty for labor. After installing the new part the unit still does not start  properly.

I am now out $625.00 for labor and a Generac generator that still does not run properly. Generac still refuses to cover the parts.

I would not purchase another Generac Generator.
