I recently bought a radiator on 07-10-12 for 1060.37. i had a expert radiator shop name Dons Radiator in New Iberia Louisiana install the radiator. after instalation and charging me 700 dollars of labor for the installation of the new radiator purchased it had a bad leak coming from the seams of the radiator. i contacted Jim for 3 days and explained to him that his radiator had a defect. He then talked me into having Dons Radiator take the radiator down and test it. After testing the radiator it was a 100 percent factory defect. The radiator was not soldering right or put together properly. It has a leaking tank and other defects in it. Jim is trying to convince me to have the radiator repaired by Dons. Dons is telling me that repairing it will void the warranty that Jim has promised and displays on his site as a 5 year warranty. The repair if done by Dons will not garauntee me a few weeks of use because the radiator is badly defected. Jim will not send me a new radiator or refund my money on this radiator for a 2006 freightliner coronado. I have been trying to get results from General Radiator for 4 days and Jim has continued to give a run around on the radiator. He has hung up the phone and dodged talking with Dons radiator. He has offered a cheap sealant that will not stop the leak and has laughed about us contacting a lawyer who has spoken with him already but the Chicago lawyer had seemed to sided with Jim. My truck has been down for over a week and now im forced to buy another radiator and pay for labor all over again.
