General RV Fraud, Deception Lies and More North Canton Ohio
I purhased what was supposed to be a 2004 Coachman Class C from this Dealership.
VIN lookup later proved it to be a 2003.
1. They told me it was ok to use the cab over for storage during travel. Up to 1200 pounds.
I did and busted the flooring away from the wall which exposed massive dry rot and delamination.
I questioned the surface waving on this overhead before purchase and was told it was "normal"
$500 to temp repair. $5000 to do it right.
2. 6 weeks into ownership the started died. $400 to replace.
3. 9 weeks into ownership stopped to have a warped rotor checked and the tech has declared the vehicle
unsafe to drive due to severely rusted brake lines and components. I was told by the dealership the brakes were "fine". 900-1200 to repair depending on if the rotors have to be replaced.
Various other parts and pieces have cost over $400.
Jim Morris(salesman) and General RV should be shut down for Fraud and Deceptive Trade Practices.
