General Steel has used deceptive practices and vague contracts to scam us out of $112,000. It has been 3 yrs. since our first dealings with them and we have no building and they refuse to give us our money. I have a file full of faxed lies from their company. Apparently they don't use e-mail as this is much easier evidence than phone calls and faxes. I am working with the Colorado AG's office along with the Louisiana AG's office in hopes of eventually getting our money back. Our story is the same as the others, quoted one price then charged a rediculous amont for doors and windows, etc.
Don't deal with General Steel!!

I was a Project Coordinator in 2003. I was one of those who testified against them. They tried to slam me and discredit me, but they lost the case, back when Ken Salazar was the States Attorney

This is strange: first they call and try to intimidate you with accusations of "extortion--" and now the matter is "resolved?"
I sure don't buy it-- sounds like they bought your silence.
I sure won't ever deal with a company that calls people and accuses them of "extortion" simply for wanting them to make good on their contracts.
