this company has ripped me off and i'm really upset.

part 1 -

i am going to contact the florida attny general, b.b.b of florida, the web based b.b.b., ecommerce b.b.b. and the secretary of state in florida about this company. i will not rest until they pay for there terrible bussiness pratices and illegal ways. they create the rules and law as the game unfolds and to boot they steal you money and refuse to give it back.

as far i have learned, you cannot charge someones credit card until the order has been shipped to the recipeint. these people charge you before they even have your order in there own possession. they will not let you stop the process once it has started. no matter what you say to them email to them or leave messages they do not sepond. i have a list of dates, telephone calls, and numerous emails to the same person. the manager does not ever seem to be in the office nor will anyone even help me. they just hang up on me.

I WANT TO SUE FOR LOST PROPERTY, EMOTIONAL AND TREMMEL DAMAGES! I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THIS MATTER HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THESE PROPPER JUSTICE LEVEL! THEY CONTINUE TO DO THIS TO MORE AND MORE PEOPLE EVERYDAY. if any lawyer would like to assit in filing a class action law suit i have all my records and proof that i got sick over this matter. if this matter goes un settled it will cost me and my bussiness time and money that they should now be held responsable for! i will pursue this until the end!

part 2-

they say that once you place an order your a fool for thinking you'll recieve it in a sortof respectable time frame. they will NOT let you get out of your e-commerce transaction assuming that you have read there terms prior to buy your item. the RULES as they make up. are that they have no time frame whatso ever that they will give you to acctually recieve what it is that they charge you for immeadtly. NOWHERE on the purchase pages does it reiderate these reidiculous rules so you may come to your better judgement and take your bussiness elsewhere.

they called me at 9:00 p.m.- 2 nights ago and told me that they did NOT have my product (3 weeks after taking my money for it) and if i would just go along, they would gladly give me a different one that i did not want. when i told them that i only wanted the one i had ordered, numerous poeple from there company told me i was an annoyance and a fool for not taking there offer. when i attempted to call yesterday a man called me a few four lettered words and hung up on me.

they have caller i.d. and will not answer the phone if you call from the same number after they have offically scammed you!

if we persue this and get there name out there i bet even more people will come forward as to being ripped off by them! i belive that if we keep up with this comapny we will find that there are many unsatisfied customers of this comapny and in numbers we can win this.

further more, it will make it more dificult for future people to make up there own rules in the ever changing vanue which is now the internet!

they have not still issued my money to the credit card company. they have not sent me a noticeof cancelation. yesterday on april 22, 2008 these clowns called to confirm my shipping address for an order i canceled three weeks ago. i have already in my posession a genrerator from another online souce that had it to me in 3 days. these guys are now calling me and harrassing me saying there going to sue me for slander for writing this to all of you. as far as i know this web site was made for this exact purpose.

if it was not for there run around tactics we surely would not be writting back and forth like this today. FYI- we are nearing 1 month and they have still not been able to generate a letter of cancleation for this purchase. as i told them many times. if they want to make this go away the ball has been in there court for weeks now to make that happen.

i will gladly keep writing until this matter is resolved. and you know what...all the reports on here are about the exact same topic from the excat same company. let them say what they want. it's only a matter of time until the next compaint of the same issue. then we'll see who the misguided individual's are.

i encourage anyone else with the same problems to please come forward and iisue a report usingthis areana of disput.- matt/ nj

This young man is completely clueless about the harm he is creating for others and himself. This order was placed on April 3, and he expected to recieve the unit one week later. By his own admission the item was available overnight at a signifigantly higher costfrom another vendor. In an attempt to give this young man some help, he was offered a Subaru Silent generator with a value of $1100, was offered the unit at the same price as the $450.00 unit he had purchased. We were unable to send this to him due to HIS actions. If this is a bait and switch strategy this man needs to see a psycholgist not an attorney.

After an extensive conversation with this man, by his own admission he had cancelled his credit card and contacted an attorney to seek legal action against this company. At this point realizing I was dealing with a misguided individual, I stated to him to send me an email stating that upon reciept of his money he would remove the derogatory information and stop the process of the chargeback. Im still waiting.

Finally, Hurricane Protection Technologies honors 100% its comitments either by return of funds or delivery of product as always and will adhere to policy that is usuall and customery for this industry as well as clearly stated in our policies that are availble on the website.
