Complaint Review: Gentle Dental Arrowhead

My mother, My brother and myself all had work done here.  I received a call a few weeks ago from a debt collector saying I owe Gentle Dental for services from 2 years ago.  I received no notices, no phone calls or anything they just sent it to collections and I was completely unaware of this debt.  After speaking with an office person and my former Health insurance company it appears Gentle Dental underestimated what I owe and are billing me for the remainder.  I Paid them around $400 and now they are saying I owe another $402 and now it's on my credit report.  After finding out this information I called my mother and brother and told them what happened and sure enough they checked and are in the exact same boat.  This company consistently underestimates costs to get you in the door and then charges you on the back end.  There is nothing you can do after services are already performed.  Make sure you do not get services from this company without forcing them to check and be accurate and call your health care provider to check accuracy.  I cannot understand for the life of me how a company thinks it's ok to consistently underestimate the cost of services and charge you more after services are complete and to top it off not inform you of the charges and send it to collections ruining your credit report.  Furthermore after speaking with the office people they do not show a shred of remorse.  The dentist was very nice, the Hygienist was very nice and I really liked their attitudes.  Their office and billing department is grossly incompetent.  No idea how they're in business.
