Geoffrey Hull, The Carlyle Motor Club ,Luxotic Motoring Red Carpet Motoring, Michael Brantley ,David Van Patten GEOFFREY HULL IS A CONVICTED CRIMINAL WANTED BY THE CA D.M.V. INVESTIGATORS, LAPD,FBI FOR ILLEGAL SUBLEASING - Beverly Hills California
Please be advised that Geoffrey Hull (real name) a.k.a. The Carlyle Motor Club a.k.a. Luxotic Motoring a.k.a. Red Carpet Motoring a.k.a. Michael Brantley is the EXACT same person: Geoffrey Hull, real, legal name with last know home address of 5350 Playa Vista Drive, Playa Vista, CA 90094. Geoffrey Hull is actually an African-American male and is in his late 20's of medium build. He graduated from USC (what a shame!) with a B.S. in business (yes, he is an accredited Bull Sh***er) and is thus a smooth-talking scammer.
It would be in your best interest to avoid any business with this entity as soon as possible and report him immediately to the authorities listed below:
***If you have been contracted by Geoffrey Hull (real name) a.k.a. The Carlyle Motor Club a.k.a. Luxotic Motoring a.k.a. Red Carpet Motoring a.k.a. Michael Brantley a.k.a. David Van Patten***:
1. You are probably have a listing on Swap-a-Lease.com or other lease assumption website. It is interesting that Geoffrey has scammed so many people from Swap-a-Lease that they have sent out an email to all of their customers warning them about his scam. See below. Call Swapalease and tell them Geoffrey Hull now as The Carlyle Motor Club is again running the same illegal auto subleasing scam and is using their site for leads again.
2. He probably told you your vehicle has 'negative equity' in these 'tough market environments.' Tell him you did some research and found out what that he is a criminal and is running an illegal subleasing scam. See below.
3. He'll act like your best friend until he gets the car, after that - he's scammed you. Say goodbye to that luxury automobile because it's being shipped to future wanna-be Pablo Escobar Drug Dealers, Pimps or Las Vegas Strippers and Prostitutes. All of whom will abuse the car, not make payments, drive uninsured, get the cars impounded and worst of all get into an accident with you still being the legally responsible Owner of your vehicle for all damages. Can we say multi-million dollar liability lawsuit from injured parties?
4. Disregard the website. It's a hoax like he is. He'll say he has a boss, he doesn't. He's the head of an illegal scam. The BBB rating he uses was fraudulently obtained through a bribe to a BBB Representative because his scam is of course neither "licensed, insured and bonded" in CA or Kalamazoo. (See Ripoff Reports on the BBB to see the unscrupulousness of this PRIVATE company - no the BBB is not a governmental agency.)
5. Delete his e-mail and MOST IMPORTANTLY follow the "5-POINT GEOFFREY HULL F**K YOU PLAN below":
***GUIDELINES TO SOME RESOLUTION IF YOU WERE SCAMMED***
1. Revoke your Limited Power of Attorney IMMEDIATELY.
2. Demand Geoffrey to return your vehicle IMMEDIATELY - otherwise report the car as stolen/embezzled (see Point 5 below). It is absolutely imperative that the vehicle be recovered. If you have Lojack, put that knowledge to use!
3. Please be advised that Geoffrey does not pick up any phone #'s - he's got the one listed above, and the following on his Blackberry: 310-880-5990 or 310-880-2240. He won't pick up unless you're one of his mid-level goons/people that he sends cars to, or people he sends to pick up new cars (watch out for Alvin Ellerbee 818-694-2052).
4. File the amount you deserve (up to $10,000) in your state's small claims court and identify Geoffrey Hull as the Defendant and Liable Party. Any amount in excess of this, a civil lawsuit is necessary.
5. GOOD NEWS: There are plenty of the good guys looking for this THIEF and SCAMMER (CA D.M.V., LAPD, FBI, etc to name a few). If you have any information or have been scammed (latter is likely) please call the lead investigator on this case who actually arrested Geoffrey and is aware of his identity:
George Zosimo
California DMV Investigations
(818) 266-9988
or
Detective Lopez
Los Angeles Police Department - Auto Crimes
(310) 482-6351
***SINCE GEOFFREY HULL IS IN VIOLATION OF HIS PROBATION AND A WARRANT IS ALREADY ISSUED FOR HIS ARREST THERE IS A BOUNTY ON HIM SO IF YOU COOPERATE AND HE IS ARRESTED YOU WILL BE REWARDED***
6. Notify the attorney general. Try the Secret Service ECTF, FTC, BBB, LAPD, your local PD. Feel free to warm call them - they're job is partly to put away sleazebags like Geoffrey Hull.
7. Remind him he's a THIEF and SCAMMER and that you will gladly testify at any trial set-up to prosecute him. People like these don't deserve to steal from other people's hard work and success.
8. As an FYI - the District Attorney is aware of this scam artist. Feel free to check in with the district attorney's office.

***BELOW IS AN E-MAIL PREVIOUSLY SENT BY SWAPALEASE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS on April 10, 2008 - You can verify the validity of this e-mail by contacting them directly***
Dear Swapalease Customer,
It has been brought to our attention that an outfit known as Red Carpet Motoring has been contacting consumers selling vehicles via online listing services including Swapalease.com on a fraudulent basis. As it applies to lease transfers they are essentially writing their own lease transfer contracts, as opposed to the proper way of transferring a lease under the supervision of the leasing company. In fact this method of transferring ones lease or subleasing is often a breach of contract and may be illegal.
Thankfully, this practice is easy to spot because the only way to properly transfer a lease is through the leasing company with no exceptions. Put differently, anyone who tells you they have another way to officially transfer your lease outside of or without the knowledge of the leasing company should not be dealt with. Note that even though the Swapalease.com New Lease Program process differs from a typical lease transfer, the transaction is handled in conjunction with the lease company.
Please note the following when transferring your vehicle lease that will ensure the transaction is ultimately handled properly enhancing Swapalease.com user experience
1. Contact Swapalease.com when initiating a lease transfer and we will explain how to properly transfer your leased vehicle.
2. Not only does contacting Swapalease.com help make certain you are transferring your vehicle lease correctly, but also aids legitimate lease buyers from an availability perspective.
3. Lease transfers properly executed will always be completed under the supervision of the leasing company.
Thank for your business and please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

I too have been ripped off by Patrick Connelly. He contacted me via a company called Status Motor Car in Beverly Hills, CA. My car was also listed on Swap-a-Lease. Their website, www.statusmotorcar.com looked legit. I checked BBB and they had an A rating, it is now an F. I was in a desperate situation so I took a chance. No payments were made. Finally after going to their address of 468 N. Camden Drive 2nd Floor Beverly Hills, CA 90210, it turned out to be an executive suite and they were just using the address. No actual office existed. I was able to recover my car after much work. There was slight damage but nothing major. I consider myself lucky although I now have to come up with 4 months worth of payments. If anyone knows how I can recover my money and have the damages paid for please let me know.

Thank you for your comments regarding this fraudulent business. I too, was contacted by this company after they saw my car on Swapalease.com. Something about the business did not seem to be legitimate. I contacted Swapalease.com to ask if Carlyle Motoring is, in fact, one of the fraudulent companies that they warn their customers about. They, confirmed that it was.
For anyone out there contemplating getting into business with these guys, please think twice! Thanks again for your comments.

CARLYLE MOTOR CLUB GEOFFREY HULL SERGEI KASPAROV PATRICK CONNELLY DJ HUNTER RUNNING SCAM ILLEGAL SUBLEASING OPERATION
#6Author of original report
Sun, January 25, 2009
I KNOW EVERYONE WORKING AT CARLYLE MOTOR CLUB AND WAS GOING TO GIVE MY CAR TO THEM UNTIL I FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE RUNNING AN ILLEGAL SUBLEASING OPERATION IN VIOLATION OF CA PENAL CODE SECTIONS 570-574 (UNLAWFUL SUBLEASING OF VEHICLES). IN ADDITION ALL OF THEIR CONTRACTS ARE IN VIOLATION OF ALL ORIGINAL LEASING CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS WHICH PROHIBIT AN ORIGINAL LESSEE FROM SUBLEASING A LEASED VEHICLE AND WILL CAUSE A LEASING COMPANY TO CONSIDER AN ORIGINAL LESSEE IN BREACH OF THEIR ORIGINAL LEASE CONTRACT AND AGREEMENT:
An act of unlawful subleasing of a motor vehicle in violation of the CA Penal Code shall be punishable by imprisonment in the state prison or in the county jail for not more than one year, or by a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.
I URGE ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN CONTACTED BY CARLYLE MOTOR CLUB OR ANY OF THEIR SO-CALLED EMPLOYEES - GEOFFREY HULL, DJ HUNTER, PATRICK CONNELLY, NADINE AND NICOLETTE AND SERGEI KASPAROV (GIVE ME A BREAK GEOFFREY HULL - "SERGEI KASPAROV" IS A RUSSIAN CHESS CHAMPION) IMMEDIATELY TO:
CA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES INVESTIGATOR GEORGE ZOSIMO AT (818) 702-2809 OR DETECTIVE LOPEZ AT L.A.P.D. AUTO CRIMES (310) 482-6351.
Everyone at Carlyle Motor Club who is engaged in this criminal enterprise is an accomplice and shall be prosecuted. Carlyle Motor Club is audacious enough to try to hide the fact that they are running an illegal nationwide enterprise by also going as far as posting fake customer reviews and ratings (http://bureaubulletin.org/BusinessProfile.aspx?ID=i3QgBq6d45x6wCBBvsEw2A==). Shame on the BBB and TrustLink for helping to promote an illegal subleasing business, Carlyle Motor Club.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM. THERE IS NO PAYMENT GUARANTEE. ONCE THEY SCAM YOU OF YOUR VEHICLE THEY WILL GIVE YOUR CAR TO EITHER A DRUG DEALER, PROSTITUTE OR OTHER PERSON WITH NEGATIVE CREDIT WHO WILL DAMAGE THE VEHICLE, NOT MAKE THE PAYMENTS, NOT INSURE THE VEHICLE AND WORST OF ALL GET INTO AN ACCIDENT WHICH YOU WILL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR. THEIR CONTRACTS AND LIABILITY RELEASES ARE FRAUDULENT AND DESIGNED TO TRICK AN UNSUSPECTING OWNER TO GIVE THEIR VEHICLE TO THEM.

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company
Fri, January 16, 2009
My name is Sergei Kasparov and I am the owner of the Carlyle Motor Club. I have absolutely no knowledge of who this Geoffrey Hull is or why he has been associated with my company.
First, a little background on me: I am a 42 year old Armenian-American, (not African American) who has been in the car business for almost my entire life. I begun working for my father in 1985 at what was then a small auto dealership in Long Island, NY (where I'm from originally) called Auto Plus. Auto Plus eventually blossomed into the biggest used car dealership in New York state (sales-wise). My father sold Auto Plus and that dealership today is known as Neil Auto Group. It was with this funding that I was able to start Carlyle Motor Club. I encourage anyone reading this to do your own due diligence and verify everything I've mentioned above and I guarantee you any employee you speak to over at Neil's, (even the new hires), would be able to verify everything I've just stated. Ask them about my father Garry Kasparov and they will tell you nothing but great things. Do not believe the lies listed in that hoax article above.
It is true, many people that have their cars listed on Leasetrader, Swapalease, Leasefolks and other lease assumption websites contact us for help. All of my employees, including Michael Brantley, are under expressed instructions to disclose ALL factors inherent in these types of transactions INCLUDING the necessity for registered owners to get the permission of their finance company BEFORE they place their cars with our company. Once the vehicle has been placed in our care, we then pass on ALL contact information of the 3rd party to the registered owners so that they can have full knowledge of who is driving their car.
To anyone reading this that has considered placing their vehicle with our company, I urge you to call me personally Toll Free at (888) 804-7852 x1 or my direct line at (310) 461-1948 and I will personally give you as many names and numbers of satisfied customers as you need to feel comfortable that we do business the correct way.
There are many scam artists out there in just about every line of work. The car business is particularly unscrupulous. This does NOT mean that every company should be lumped into the same negative category. CMC has been in the same office for 2 years, (again this is verifiable as well). If we are wanted by the FBI, CIA, Secret Service (gimme a break), FAA, FCC and every other government agency that this anonymous person listed in the email above, we would've been shut down a long time ago. Again, we have been in the same location for years.
Michael Brantley is a good employee and I stand behind him 100%. I urge the individual who wrote this to call me directly so we can sort out any misunderstanding as opposed to this cowardly approach. I strongly doubt the person that wrote this is a client of ours as we are extremely diligent in addressing our clients' issues and concerns head on.
My only wish is that this RipOff Report website was more vigilant about screening who posts articles on their website. If Geffry Hull is a real person he deserves everything that's coming to him. I strongly doubt he even exists. I find it interesting that whoever posted the article posted a random letter from Swapalease about a completely different company. I find it mildly amusing that they said we "bribed a BBB representative" for our high rating. As if it were beyond the realm of possibility for a company to actually perform to a higher standard. By the way, here is our business license number with the Better Business Bureau: 100075790.
I urge anyone interested in CMC to do their research before believing this guy's ball of lies. CMC has a client list full of high profile celebrities and athletes. Many of your favorite entertainers have probably driven a vehicle offered by us. We have worked too hard establishing our reputation here in Los Angeles for it to be soiled by such a cowardly act. I sincerely hope all those reading this take the time to call me or verify the items I've listed above before reaching any negative conclusions. Thank you and God Bless
