The services of this company are plain and simple a RIP OFF. Let's understand what a "rip off" means: It is a product or a service that is not really valuable that you get for a huge amount of money. Normally, in a rip off, the memory of the transaction produces very awful sensations of guilt, shame, stupidity and maybe hatred as well.
I should add, some of the things this company recommends and implements could actually have some value and be of help. Or maybe could add a different perspective for the clients. In the end, this company has 80 years in the market. HOWEVER, the price they charge for this stuff is totally outrageous. It just doesn't make sense. But there is one reason why it does not make sense; because George S May don't commit with the client or give any warranty whatsoever. They are not acountable; they are not held responsible for what they do.

Unfortunatelly, no matter what they do, they get a big big chunk of money. I think this company wouldn't be so much on the spot if they at least tried to maintain their experience, their knowledge and their wisdom. But they don't keep their people, therefore, they don't keep their experience, their knowledge and their wisdom. On the contrary they dump it away as garbage and that's why they have to rely on the high presure, unscrupulous techniques to sell consulting projects to whoever bites.

This company pushes "Go aheads" of consulting projects even when they know the prospect client is not a match for these kind of project and services.

They still push it because what they will do is send 3 consultants, no matter their level of knowledge, wisdom and experience and get $6,000 dollars per day plus expenses (airfares, hotels, car rentals, meals)... So even if the client decides to close or cancel the project, George S May still get their money. Not bad for a failure right ?
