The company's procedure is very slick. They ask to see your books in order to see what they can take you in for not to give you any useful feed back

Every thing seems to be overly structured secretive, rigid and self serving for them of course. Their mentality is purely predatory.

You are pressured into agreeing and signing releases

This consulting with G S May has been one of the most stressful and unpleasant experience in my 30 years career in the restaurant business and could have been done for nothing by asking a collegue to come do a peer review Dont waste you money on a scam

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, March 21, 2006

My company was cold called in Feb. by a company called International Profit Associates (IPA) They also are from Illionios. The stroy is EXACALLY the same. Will come in a do a summary of your business for a fee. They then bring in a team and charge you mega bucks for a simple report, that anyone whom ever took a basic business class could have written. We got out of it before it got to late. But IPA continues to call every other day. VERY high pressure.

Now today I got a call from George S. May. Of course, I am still gun shy from the whople IPA experience. So I did my research. The man who started IPA, John Burgess was a FORMER George S. MAy employee.

Now I am reading there is another breakoff company called Dolphin Pacific Group.

Stay away from all 3 companies.

continuing fraud of George S. May

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sat, March 18, 2006

I see in the newspapers where George S. May Company is trying to shut down websites such as Bad Business Bureau that alert the consumer of rip-offs. George S. May Company does not want potential "suckers" to their rip-off schemes to learn of their underhanded, fraudulent tactics.

As the restauranteur notes in his posting, the "advice" George S. May Company provides is useless, and they will drain your bank account on top of that.
