I locked my keys inside my car with my dog inside and the engine running.  I was able to reach my son and he came to help me.  We looked up lock-smiths on the google app of his cell phone, and Georgia Lock and Key was one of the first to come up.

They seemed to have a professional website, and it showed a picture of a brand new service van and service technition in a uniform.  They listed the price as $35 for a lock-out, plus a $25 service fee.  So $60 total with a disclaimer notice that prices may fluctuate due to the circumstances.  The most expensive thing on their pricelist "menu" was $120 for an ignition switch change out.  I asked the lady who took my call how much it would be and she said to ask the technitian.  so when the tech called me, I asked how much.  He said he didn't know until he got there.  Which I assumed would mean when he saw how easy it was he would charge me the standard rate of $60.

When the technition arrived late he was very kirt and rude.  It was a beat up old clunker van, and the technitian was dirty and unkept.  I asked him how much it would be and he ignored me.  I asked several more times and he would not tell me a price.  He used several small tools to open my truck door in less than 2 minutes.  The he literally grabbed the credit card away from me and walked away and took out a piece of paper and a pencil and layed the paper over the credit card and began frantically tracing the numbers onto the paper, and he starting writing the other info off the card onto the paper.

I tried to get the card back and he would not give it back.  He called into the office, and he charged me $185.00 and finally gave my card back to me.  Then he sped off in a real hurry.  I was trying to ask him questions but he wanted no part of a discussion with me.  He would not listen to anything I had to say or ask.  I cussed him out as he drove away and called him every name in the book.  I was completely LIVID!!!

No one at the company will respond to my questions or emails and I cannot reach them.  I told them via email that I would be advertising my experience on the web.  I am watching the account closely to make sure the man doesn't try and charge more fraudulant charges on my card.

Do not use this service!  A price fluctuation I would imagine to be about 10-20% either direction.  This price "fluctuated" to over 3 times the advertised price.  It was obviously designed to take advantage of stranded motorist.
