Hired the company to renovate two bathrooms and two closets. Owner stated that the job would take a week. Once he received the deposit, demo started. After a week, communication was poor. Workers would not show up for days and some days they would come without any notice.
Most of the workers did not speak English, so my husband was in touch with the owner regarding prices and changes in the work scope. Overall, my husband was only told by the owner it would be an additional $375 from original quote.
Once I fired them, due to being a month into the project and some of our items damaged, the owner sent the final invoice with an additional $2,660.00 in charges. We went back and forth but still ended up paying $1,700.00 more than the original quote.
