Complaint Review: Gerald Tilly

On March 13/2006 I was contacted by a Gerald Tilly 57 Belson Road London SE18 5PU United Kingdom geraldt800@yahoo.com. Notifying me that a bid a put on product on e-Bay was up for a Second Chance Offer. The e-mail said the first higher bidder did not comes thought with the payment.

The eBay e-mails looked like they had come from eBay them shelves. The eBay e-mail had used the Id# 63877 and the name: equiteric I had checked all information from Gerald Tilly, it look very authentic. I sent a Money Transfer From Western Union.

E-Bay has contacted me and said the email I received was likely a spoof and was not from eBay. eBay is very concerned about spoof email and is taking prompt action to address the issue. Spoof emails intentionally give the false impression that they have been sent by eBay to solicit people to provide their account information.

I will be contacting the Local RCMP and the SCD6 Economic and Specialist Crime OCU in London United Kingdom for future action. I also have filed a compliant with the Reporting Economic Crime Online (RECOL) and the Canadian Anti-Fraud PhoneBusters. . This is an initiative that involves an integrated partnership between International, Federal and Provincial Law Enforcement agencies, as well as, with regulators and private commercial organizations that have a legitimate investigative interest in receiving a copy of complaints of economic crime.

Gerald Tilly geraldt800@yahoo.com is a fraudulent and should be stopped. I really like to make sure that this does not happen to any one else.
