Complaint Review: Gerard Lafont

Gerard Aka Gerry Lafont is as crooked as they come. He steals from his employees paychecks and refuses to pay them what he owes so he can make his bonus and pay for his expensive house and car at 15659 SPLIT CREEK DR  MONUMENT CO 80132-6044.
All he cares about is raising my rent, and cutting back on the nursing staff, I constantly ring my bell for service and the staff are too busy with their massive workload to help me on a regular basis. Sometimes i sit in shi7 for hours thanks to his greedy a*s, id like to see him wipe my a*s someday when there's no one here to help me, but hes too good for that.

This facility can't get enough help no matter what because they have bad credit with every single nursing pool agency in colorado. They refuse to pay their bills so the agencies cut them off years ago. And gerry lafont fits in perfectly because he only cares about himself he refuses to pay his employees what he owes them.

He has no balls either, he only does what his director of nursing tells him without questioning anything. He fired an employee once because the employee offered a resident Kentucky fried chicken, and someone got their feelings hurt because they didnt get any. So this moron accused them of abuse.no brains. He uses any BS excuse to fire someone when it means he can meet his dollar quota.

He cheats on his wife by having sexual relations with the employees. I watched him stick his fingers in a CNA's mouth at a company party in front of everyone.

He is the most arrogant sob ive ever seen and now that he has his masters he is disgusting to be around because he thinks he is better than everyone else even more so. When he first set foot in this place nobody even knew who he was at the christmas party because he refused to introduce himself to anyone as the new admin.

I would not suggest working here even if your desperate for a job because all this a$$hole knows how to do is accuse people of abuse and try to scare them into quitting whenever he has a problem with them. And if they offer you a bonus contract watch out because they will be especially watching you so they can accuse you of abuse and possibly take your license away. All this so they don't have to pay you your contractual bonus if you quit or get fired before the term is up.

Besides, the place is full of mold and asbestos. Your loved one wont live long here anyway because they can't keep any intelligent staff. All the Charge Nurses have left because they know that the DON's personal friends who work there are the ones really running the place, and because of that there is no such thing as insubordination.

Once there was a tornado blowing through here and the Charge Nurse allowed everyone to remain in the dining room while water was flooding through the place, right in front off all the windows. Of course they covered this up because someone could have gotten killed.

Hopefully with the new health care bill, places like this will become a thing of the past.
