Complaint Review: Get Foreclosure Results

On February 10, 2006 we contacted this firm (Get Foreclosure Results) and they indicated that they would negotiate with our lender (Chase Manhattan) and work out a payoff arrangement. On February 18, 2006 we paid them $1595.00 to close the deal. After they were paid by us, They did little or nothing to help us, despite giving us assurances that they were working on it Phone calls and emails went unanswered; they did not even request adjournments of the Sheriff's Sale as promised; rather we did those ourselves.

Realizing that this firm was a scam, we retained an attorney who helped us obtain a refinance one day before the third and final sheriff's sale. During this process we learned from Chase Manhattan and Chase's attorney that GFR had never contacted them at all.

Bottom line: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We have referred this company to the California ttorney General's Office for investigation.
