GetMyHOmesValue.com Total Scam. Rip Off. Please Someone Investigate Lancaster Pennsylvania
Three months ago I received a phone call, out of the blue, from a salesman from GetMyHomesValue.com. The salesman explained to me that their service was the best out there for Realtors and gave a very convincing sales pitch on why I should subscribe. The sales pitch included a guaranteed 2-10 leads per month, which would be pre-screened buyers or sellers, all who were serious and wanted a Realtor. I relunctantly agreed to try the service, but only on a month to month basis. The first coaching call date came and went without the promised call. The 2nd coaching call arrived, but 2 hours late, and it was not a coach. It was a lady trying to get me to suscribe for a very expensive web site, and I declined. After 3 weeks and no leads, I e-mailed customer support and received no response. I called customer service and they told me it was unusual, but I would be getting the leads soon. Another 2 weeks, and no leads. I called and complained again...loe and behold, here came my first lead almost immediatly. This lead turned out to be an uninterested person who wanted nothing to do with a Realtor. After almost two months of no leads, I e-mailed to cancel my service...no response. I tried calling the company and pushed #2 for their cancelation adviser....no anewer, the phone rang and rang. After several days tryiing to get them to answer the phone, to no avail...I called the new subscription number...guess what, they answered on the first ring. I was told that I would have to talk to a manager, named "Neil" and he would call me back....you guessed it, no call back. After several attempts, I finally caught Neil, off guard and he answered the phone. I advised Neil of the problem and he tried to keep me subscribed. When I told him that I wanted my month to month subscription canceled at the end of the month, he said they couldn't do that. Neil tells me that since their company had already done all of their advertising for the following month, I would have to stay subscribed and pay another $259.00 for another month. I told them I was going to deny payment through my credit card for the following month that I didn't want. Neil said they would send it to collections if I did so. I decided it was easier to just keep the (no) service another month and hope for a miracle lead. Well, I got another month of no leads. I am now out $554.00 and got absolutely nothing. I'm still not even sure if they are going to keep charging my credit card, or what. This fake company is a scam and a nightmare. Please, anyone with any advice, please contact me. (((ROR redacted)))
