Complaint Review: GFK Mystery Shopping Company

I have performed mystery shopping service for this company for a few years. Recently, I am back to performing audit shops for a major electronics company for them.  This company has failed to pay for shopping service 3 times.  First time, they said that they have a policy that the correct form has to be uploaded in order to be paid, so I let it go.  The 2nd time, it was simply outrageous, they make a false allegation that I did not date my report and then they make my report 'invalid' by simply saying that my overall report score was higher than average without further reply or explanation.

I have left several email and phone messages with the program coordinator, the scheduler but it seems that they are all in hiding and scare to return or even answer my phone call.  Then this 3rd time, is the last straw, they make my report 'invalid' again today August 3rd.  Have not heard from them a valid reason for them to make it invalid.  I have always responded to all emails sent for additional information and submitted all reports correctly. The worst part, they seems to be in hiding after they make your report 'invalid', you could never get a reply from anyone in the company or the editor, or proof reader.

This has happened to me today, the 3rd time in this same audit program.   They will give you big 'bogus' amount of bonus so that you would go and perform the audit and after the report are submitted, they would find excuses to make your report invalid and not pay you.  I have spoken to other shoppers in the area who have had the same experience. The company may be using the report and just not paying the shopper. Nevertheless, they have refused to return any of my calls.

This was a great Mystery Shopper company until my recent experience with them. They have poor customer service in that I could never reach a live person during regular business hours.   Do not sign up with them because they are getting away with making people work and not paying.
