I am writing to inform others of the fraudulent business activities taking place by GGW Video (Girls Gone Wild). In February 2002, I placed an online order for some of their DVDs. Everything went ok, I received my videos and my account was charged correctly. However, just today (April 13, 2002) I noticed another charge on my account. I never authorized this charge. I immediately attemtped to call GGW Customer Service and listened to a recording and was told to call back during their business hours which is 8am - 5pm PST. Well, the call was made at 9:30am PST and no one was available?? I tried a few more times with the same result. Immediately, I called my bank and informed them of this unauthorized activity. They are now doing research into the incident to investigate this problem.

My advice to anyone out there interested in purchasing these videos, stay away! They are wrongfully taking money from past customers with the hope that it won't be noticed. I feel bad for those who are getting charged monthly for items they never ordered simply because they haven't taken the time to look over their bank statements.

My question is, legally, can something be done to put a stop to this fraud?
