Hi,

I ordered two video tapes on line on 21 Oct 02 for $14.98 from the company below.

Company

GGW Video
Address:
PO Box 9231
Sylmar California 91392-9231
U.S.A.
Phone Number:

====================
I received the tapes and thought that was it. However upon checking my Master Card billing today, I found another charge from GGW Video in the amount of $24.98 on 22Nov02. As I had not authorized additional orders or charges, I called their Customer Service to complain and to have the latest charge removed. They told me I had authorized the payment. When asked where this authorization was posted on the web site and asked to read it to me verbatim, he said he did not have access to the Internet and couldn't do this, but assured me the notice was there.

I then told the individual to cancel any further orders and to notify me by Email to this effect. He couldn't do this either, so I have to hope this was done. As it stands, I'm going to have to eat the $24.98 charge to my M/C for the unordered tapes.

I went back to the GGW Video web site and took a picture of the only page that could even remotely be deemed to be an authorization for further orders. I have attached this file to a seperate Email.

I realize there is nothing you can do, but I would like to have this posted to forewarn anyone thinking of making an initial order with this rip-off company. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hey Bob:

You don't have to eat up those charges. If anyone reads my email is [deleted] and I want a response if an attorney reads this [through this report]. Does MRA have a right to say it in their contract, preview monthly and cancel any time. Nobody seems to see that. I had an argument with them. Now whether its porno or not is another debate. I have a few tapes that I bought from the company and some we're all right. The company also authorizes property of playboy direct which I think is ok in some flicks but also boring. Just like if us the consumers don't like a product don't buy it. Its America and we have the right to what we all want. The bigger problem is that GGW commercial still aires on E channel and people will still buy it. I also hope everyone that reads this topic call your creditors and tell them whats going on. When speaking to an operator from Texas specify you don't want the preview.
