hello

i purchased a gianttech plasma cutter model cut 50d from giant tech sales,Larry Bixby. the item came as expected. when i unpacked it to use it for the first time i plugged it into the wall and it did not work. i emailed larry right away with the problem on a sunday and he called me in about 15 minutes. wow good customer service i thought. thats were the good ends. he trouble shot it over the phone and we found out the 110 volt side of the 110/220 volt system was dead. He said go ahead and use it and he would send me a replacement right away. well that was in october 2010. it is now jan 2011 and i have not seen anything yet. i have e-mailed him multiple times and even called and left messages with no response. so i am guessing i am stuck with a half working plasma cutter! so for your own good steer clear of of gianttechsales of wentworth, nh!

Well i finally got my replacement unit on feb 1st 2011. only 3 months after my original contact of a faulty unit to GiantTech.
 here is the kicker! I only got my replacement unit after I contacted the Better Business Bureau. So your best off if you take your business someplace other than GiantTech.

i filed a report with the Better Business Bureau on Larry Bixby at Giant Tech the same day i filed my report with the rip off report on Jan 13 2011. He was given till jan 24 of 2011 to respond, he did respond today stating that my replacement will be sent out on jan 25 2011. We will see what happens. This may be the way for other people ripped off by Giant Tech to get what they deserve from Larry Bixby. good luck, i will keep you updated.
