I was a vendor in the market for years, and the management has not done much to make the flea market appealing to the public. Air quality is terrible, the walkways are narrow and dirty, the washrooms are third-world, and the general structure and foundation of each and every booth/stall is weak ann downright ugly.

Human traffic has been dwindling as well, and a lot of vendors cannot even recover the excessive rent fees for their stalls. What is more annoying is the "late $50 fee" that they have imposed to vendors if their stall is not open prior at 9 am.

Some vendors have brought up these issues with general manager (Brian Vaughn), but only with disappointment. Brian is a difficult person to deal with and would not even attend to your questions the way a general manager should.

My advice is to run away from this market if you are a vendor, because the fees will take a toll on you. Moreover, they have a lot of rules that are downright unfair to vendors. I would understand if the market was first-rate and vendors were actually treated well. The marker is third-rate and not even worthy of your time. To simply put it, it is trashy.
