Complaint Review: Gibson Trust

Hi all,

I felt i should weigh in on the Gibson Trust issue. I too have been scammed for at leat 400 dollars plus whatever their fees were and whatever did not make it to creditors. I started with this company (i use the term loosly) back in October 2000. I was not in a real bad financial situation.

My choice for consolidation was more preventative. I foresaw a problem with my finances down the road...

I now feel like a non-paying credit-w***r. I made every payment to gibson, (the first of which was funneled to Gibson's coffers) only to spent more time on the phones defending my choice to consolidate with creditors. Did you know Sears stopped accepting proposals from them over 2 years ago? I'm no fan of the collection methods of sears but maybe they saw something fishy early on.

Now their phone is on a repeating greeting, they cancelled their Quick-Pay Account with Western Union, and to top it off, I payed $19 to UPS overnight a payment that was a day late and it came back to the place i sent it from! They stated no such address existed.

Let's face it folks, the writing was on the wall. Never getting a live person despite repeated attemps by phone. No responses to E-Mail. They guys uprooted their sweat-shop operation and moved accross town. They probably skipped on their rent too. They are the most extreme Case of money stealing Dirt Bags that steal our hard earned money.

Lets get together and file a class action suit. If we can find them.
