After reading all of the other Rip-Off Reports regarding Gibson Trust, Inc., I have to admit that they are all true. I have been struggling for the last 20 months to consistently make my payments to them on time and succeeded only for them to turn around and not send these payments to my creditors until they felt like it.

To this day, I am constantly calling their so-called "Customer Service Department" to find out what happened to my September 2002 payment. They are useless. They send you false statements each month telling you that you payment went out when they have not. You start receiving calls from your creditors telling them the same thing and of course, there is nothing they can do about it.

I know I will never get my deposit $1,000 deposit back but I just don't want other individuals seeking help to get involved with Gibson Trust, Inc. They are really terrible.

Shirley, ..Great Comments!

We have had a great deal of problems with the Florida Attorney General harboring known criminals and not prosecuting proven criminal acts. We have even written to Governor Jeb Bush to get some action, since the two are buddies. I guess his own family is too busy with legal problems to take care of business. Maybe he should just step down. At a minimum he should answer some questions. What is the Florida - Canada connection: so many scams have that connection. Florida is a home for business scams and rip-offs... why?

Why can't the Florida Attorney General do something about that?

Would you not think it would be illegal for them to send you a monthly statement showing an amount and check number, and date of disbursement, and them not really send them. I got one every month, and when I questioned them about it, there was always an excuse of what went wrong.

It seems that this scheme would be sort of like check kiting... they really hold them and send them whenever they want. Why can't the Florida Attorney General do something about that? I have kept all of mine in case any organization ever needs them, and they sure do not match with the credit card company payment receipts. I suggest you always keep these.
