Here is one more horror story concerning Gibson Trust!
Folks, please, please write your attourney general. We need to
do something about this before it gets worse. This business
needs to be exposed and closed!
I signed up with Gibson Trust thinking that this was all good, that making monthly payments would be easy. But, I sent my first payment in and all hell broke loose.
I got a phone call and was told by Josh Constantine that he could not make payments to my creditors for several more months
because I had recently made balance transfers or cash advances on my accounts. I was so enraged! Why wasn't I told about this ahead of time!??
So I write emails and leave voice mail messages to try to get this resolved, and I never got a response! This is ridiculous considering how before I made a complaint there was no problem in our correspondence.
So now they have my money, my creditors are not paid, and I have late fees on all my accounts.
This is horrible!!
Do not, I repeat do not... get involved with this company!
They sound nice at first and will bend over backwards at first to help you. But don't be decieved!
Fortunately I was just offered a new credit card that allowed me to transfer all of my debt for a really low rate! I think that for me this is better than any consolidation program.

Thanks to all of the complaints I saw when I researched the company as a possible new employer, I WILL NOT GO TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
This is my way of saying thank you. I feel for all of you involved and hope that your encounter with Gibson Trust will be resolved. I personally used another company for my credit problems and am fully satisfied.

I too have received a letter from Gibson Trust that tells me that they will settle my dispute with them if I sign thier letter of release first and have it notorized.
The letter states that we agree not to seek any further claims against Gibson Trust.
Further, we must agree that within 5 days of receiving the refund of fees, we will notify the Florida Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, Money Talks, and the Rip-off Report that any dispute that we had with Gibson Trust,Inc. has been resolved.
We agree to send a copy of said letters to Gibson Trust,Inc. at the same time. We agree to furnish Gibson Trust,Inc. with a list of other agencies and media we have contacted about our dispute with Gibson Trust,Inc. and present Gibson Trust,Inc. with a notorized letter stating the matters in dispute are resolved. Gibson Trust,Inc. will forward said letter to media and agencies at its own expense.
This is what we are required to do in order to receive justice for what Gibson Trust,Inc. did to us.
We have not signed this release because we do not believe that we should have to do all those things when we did nothing wrong but to trust Gibson Trust,Inc. with our money and accounts.
Where is the justice??? How can this be allowed to continue??
Is there not one lawyer out there that will take on these people and fight for justice?
Where's the class action suit that I heard could be formed???
I am going to file another complaint to the Florida Attorney General's Office.
This time I am going to complain about the amount of time it is taking them to investigate this great wrong doing.
The case is being investgated and we can all flood their fax machine with evidence and ask for justice.

Thank you so much for what you wrote!
I did not realize the situation with the Florida Attourney General's office. Thanks for making that known. (I guess that explains why I haven't heard back from them.) I wrote them several weeks ago asking if they know about the problems with Gibson Trust and what they intend to do about it, and have not heard back. Well, this whole thing is really disgusting.
Now, just imagine what our money could be being used for... Hmmm... could be many things. What about to support terrorism? The thing is, is this just can not be allowed to continue.

I am glad to finally see that there is someone else out there that is not going to shut up about what is being done to so many people who need help and think that Gibson Trust will help them.
I really think that we all should start constantly contacting the Florida Attorney General's Office and find out what is taking so long to investigate this company.
They have been under investigation for almost 1 year now and it seems NOTHING is being done other than the fact that Gibson Trust is listed on their site as one of the companies that is currently under investigation and that the company is cooperating with them in the investigation.
I think the Attorney General's Office had better start talking to the victims instead of listening to the line of crap that I am sure Gibson Trust is giving them.
The Attorney General's Office is not doing enough to stop this company from it's practices of taking money from people and then not delivering the services that they claim they will deliver and then they keep your money when you finally have not choice but to quit with them before you lose any more of your money to their scam business.
The Government has all these offices that are suppose to help the customer and what have they done in this case so far.
I don't think that even one of the victims in this case have been kept up to date as to what they plan to do about Gibson.
I say that yes we should all keep yelling at the top of our lungs about what Gibson Trust is doing. AND we all also need to make the Florida Attorney General's Office aware that we are not going away and that we demand to know what they are doing for the victims in this case.
SO far the work they have done is of no use to all the poor victims.
Make the Government accountable for all the hard earned tax money that is used to support alot of these Government Offices.
In other words!! Florida Attornry General's Office--- Do the job that the paying customers of America deserve to have done for them.

I have decided to send my form back to Gibson Trust as certified mail, with a note saying that I will not sign this form unless I can get my full money back, and without the terms they want me to agree to: basically to deny freedom of speech and freedom of press.
So, I take back what I said before about not wanting my money back.
I was too angry to think clearly when I wrote that. (Though I did think I had a good point in one sense.)
Anyways, I will continue to work on getting my money back, and will continue to expose this company. More updates tp come...

Guess what I just got in the mail? My money back? No, not at all!!!
Let me update you!! I did contact the Attourney General's office of NY state, and I did get a response back after a few months. Then, I got a call from Gibson Trust soon after this, from their quality control department. What a joke...
So this is what happens... I was told I would get a letter in the mail that needed to be signed and notarized, and sent back to Gibson Trust, and they would send my money back. I just got the letter today.
They decided it would be better to give me back $234 rather than the full $303, and ONLY if I promise to give up any complaints against them, have any complaints I have made in any media sources removed, and copies of these sent to them. There is no way I am signing this letter OR SENDING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY ALREADY SCREWED ME OVER! NOW, THEY ARE ASKING ME TO JUSTIFY THEM, BY SHUTTING MY MOUTH. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND STILL HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO SAY WHATEVER I WANT TO SAY!
YOU KNOW WHAT??? THEY CAN HAVE MY f**kING MONEY!! I DON'T WANT IT ANY MORE!!!
