I started with Gibson trust in August 2000. Payments were timely and everything was in good standing until February 2002. One credit card did not receive a payment.

By June, they received a double payment. Later this year, payments were missed by all 5 of my credit cards in August and September. Gibson told me they would request to Accounting to do a check trace.

Another payment was made in October but I am still missing two Aug and Sept. After several calls, faxes, and emails I have not heard back from Gibson trust. My credit card reps. stated that they have been contacted by Gibson as of Oct. 9th 2002.

I filed a report with BBB in southern Fl will file a lawsuit if this is not resolved quickly.

Sleuth update... Norstar aka Gibson Trust aka Goldstar Financial

I decided to be Columbo and call Norstar to see what they are all about. I gave my Gibson Trust account number just for kicks but it was invalid. I spoke to Maggie about my issue with them and asked if they were formally Gibson Trust, aka Goldstar Financial. She said they were not and I mentioned that their website told me that. She said they were having problems with the site. (or somebody doesn't know how to copy, paste and delete).

Anyway, I asked to speak to Peter O'toole and she said she could only take a handwritten note from me. I asked it he was the CEO and she said Peter was only an employee. I asked what his number was but she refused to tell me. I also asked for her supervisor's name to which she declined. I left a message with Mr. O'toole that he owes me $1500 for missed payments. Let's hope he calls me back.

Running with the addresses of the two businesses on Mapquest, I found they are 3.5 miles away from each other. I encourage all interested to checkout Norstar's website and call them. The website is identical to Gibson's. When you call, press (4) which is for creditors calling them and you will get right through.
