I am yet another victim of the infamous Gibson Trust, Inc. I contacted Gibson Trust December 2001 and spoke with Carl Hunter.

After hearing what a wonderful program they had to offer I entered into the FAST PAY PLAN, wherein I would pay off my consolidated debt in 60 months. Yeah, right. I was excited to get started. I paid each and every payment by Western Union to make sure it would get there in a timely manner (my latest payment being 11/5/02).

It was a satisfying feeling each time I would make that $513.00 payment, knowing that my creditors were being paid. All was well. I trusted that my payments were being made by Gibson Trust.

It felt really good when I received letters from my creditors(in the beginning) telling me that I was doing the right thing by using a credit counseling service. Well, that didn't last long. Soon I began receiving letters from my creditors stating that I had missed a payment and if I didn't comply with the terms of the credit counseling program I would be "dropped" from the program.

I contacted Gibson Trust and told them that I was receiving letters and telephone calls from my creditors stating that I had not made my payment. I was reassured that all was fine, "it just takes a while for their computers to pick up the payments" yada, yada, yada... "as long as you're making your payments to us your account is fine." I heard this on several occasions.

I wondered about the validity of the company but didn't know for sure until yesterday when I was attempting to find Gibson's website and ran onto this Rip-Off Report site. Oh my, I immediately got nauseated, knowing that what I suspected was in fact the truth.

I read every report on this site regarding Gibson Trust. Once I got over the initial shock (and the nausea) I got angry and determined. It will take some work but I will get my credit back on track and I will do everything in my power to see that justice is done, for myself and all of the other victims of Gibson Trust.

This company has failed me miserably. I have talked with Carl Hunter, Bryan, Lillian, Brad, and numerous other nameless customer service reps. They have failed to make several of my monthly payments resulting in a dropping credit rating for me.

My credit and I have suffered terribly. I am physically and mentally sick over this whole ordeal. This whole mess consumes me, it is so wrong.

I will not give up until the responsible parties involved with this company are brought to justice. I am committed to this and will not stop until justice is done. I am very interested in joining in a lawsuit to accomplish this.
