I had AAA+ credit before I consolidated with Gibson Trust one year ago. The convienience of having only one payment was something that sounded good to me. I had several difficulties with the company over the past year, but generally, they eventually resolved the difficulties.
I am not one who complains about every little problem. The fact that I gave them so many chances in the past shows that I understand there is not going to be a perfect company.
I sent them my payment on time as I always have in both January and february. They admitted to the reception of the cashiers checks that I sent. At the begining of February I started getting late notices and phone calls from creditors. I faxed Gibson trust with a complaint.
Five days later I was called back and I clarified the problem to their customer care representative. She confirmed reception of both January and February's payments and explained that they needed two weeks to resolve the problem. Still no results and nothing heard.
So I faxed them again on the 1st of March and almost every work day since. They have ignored my calls for help. They send out a disbursement on the 1st of March claiming that it was January's payment sent on January 18th. This is doubtful. To this date the February payment has not been disbursed.
Because of their ineptitude, I have to pays late fees and additional interest. I am hounded with phone calls from my creditors. I am currently out $642.00 in payments to them not including the additional expenses incurred.
