I wanted to sell my giftcard online, so i was seeing what companies would offer me the most money for my giftcard. Looks like giftcardrescue.com was offering me $149 in exchange for my $168.08 walmart giftcard. So i agreed to go with them, i scratched the back of my un-used brand new walmart giftcard and scratched the pin out as well entered my giftcard into their system as its required. I wenr to the post office the next day, i sent my giftcard to them, first class priority with delivery confirnation and i added $160 of insurance to my purchase.
Ten days later still havent heard from them!! Now im getting pissed so i check my account and it saids card rejected zero balance?? Um wat? What do they mean card rejected? That was a brand new unused card. So i call their customer service line she tells me i sent them an empty card. Im like you got to be joking right?? Why the hell would i stick an empty card in an envelope with delivery confirmation insurance and firstclass. They are playing me for some idiot. Long story short giftcard rescue is a scam, they gather your giftcard info online, drain your balance, wait ten days to reject your card and never pay you, so now im out of $168.08. On top of that you have to send a self addressed stamped envelope to them to get your card back! Unbelievable
