Gifted Careers Gifted-Careers recieved mulitiple fraudulent calls from "unknown" and a 678 area code number Nashville, Tennessee
I am a photographer by trade and a full time student and i was looking for work naturally that could better pay the bills. I "applied" to this company called MonkeyJar because it was a good website, i checked out the company and seemed legit. After applying I noticed that through HotJobs it was asking me to put my picture up. I NEVER put my picture up anywhere because I know they can make fake IDs with it. So naturally i didnt fill that in.
Not even two hours afterwards i started getting phone calls from 678-253-6225, I answered and they thought my name was Carolyn. Well, its not. I got 8!!! yes i said 8 phone calls in less than 6 hours asking for Carolyn. It started to freak me out and then I started getting calls from an "unknown" phone number. SAME people!
Then i get the email saying they are interested in scheduling an interview and that I have to go to this link in order to say that I was interested in the position. I WOULDNT HAVE APPLIED TO IT IF I WASNT INTERESTED IN IT!! DUHH!! So then I looked up the links and found out its bogus.
I am now terrified that my identity has been stolen because it has my personal information on it for my resume. I feel I need to sue over this.
Watch out guys. its a scam
